What 25/50/15 means
The numbers are shorthand for bodily injury and property damage limits. The policy may provide up to $25,000 for bodily injury or death of one person, up to $50,000 total for bodily injury or death of two or more people in one accident, and up to $15,000 for property damage.
Why minimum limits may not be enough
A serious crash can produce ambulance bills, emergency care, imaging, surgery, physical therapy, missed work, and future treatment. A minimum policy can run out before the injured person knows the full medical picture.
| Issue | What to do |
|---|---|
| UM/UIM coverage | Arizona insurers must offer uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage under ARS 20-259.01. Check your declarations page. |
| Medical proof | Do not value the claim before the diagnosis, treatment plan, and work restrictions are clear. |
| Settlement release | A release can close the claim even if later treatment becomes necessary. |
